Welcome to my family history blog! I have been researching my family history for over two decades. Some of the surnames I am researching include DEBEE, HAHNENKAMP, HIXON, JANCO, KOLK, ORSI, PETRINI, STRIEBEL, WEISS.
I plan to blog here about my research, often using Amy Crow Johnson’s “52 Weeks” prompts. I also hope to include a page for each of the main lines I am researching. You will find links to these at the top of the blog.
I previously blogged on the Weebly platform at Family Trees and Branches for several years. They were recently bought out by Square, a fine company, but one geared towards commercial websites.I felt it was time to explore other options. At some point I will begin moving my content here, but you can also visit my old website to read my earlier research.
